Since the 2010s, this company has been delivering bespoke structural steel solutions across a range of industrial and commercial projects, alongside comprehensive project management services. Through continued success, they have grown to over 50 employees, achieved a multi-million-pound turnover, and continue to expand their project portfolio. In this office-based role, you will work closely with the estimating team during the pre-construction phase, assisting with Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender submissions and cost planning before taking ownership of the commercial and project management aspects of projects through to completion. You will manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, prepare cost reports and valuations, administer contracts, liaise with clients, suppliers and internal project teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager from a civil engineering or structural steel background looking to broaden their commercial and project management experience within a growing business, while benefiting from specialist training and genuine long-term career progression.
