The strategically important Sales Engineer role comes with a competitive salary (depending on experience), car allowance and bonus scheme. Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Engineer role Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will: Propose technical solutions tailored to customer requirements across power switching and monitoring systems Work closely with the tender team to produce quotations and technical documentation Provide technical support to customers and the UK sales team on large-scale projects. Assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations. Attend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handover Prepare and deliver quotations and tender submissions for power switching and monitoring products Identify and report additional work opportunities during site visits. Represent the business at pre- and post-tender meetings Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering desirable Experience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineering Knowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable) Commissioning and switchgear experience (desirable). Personal skills The Sales Engineer role would suit someone who is: Technically strong with the ability to translate solutions into customer value Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development Confident presenting and engaging with customers at all levels Highly organised with strong time management skills. A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills Salary and benefits of the Sales Engineer role Salary - competitive. Car allowance. Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (with flexible start/finish times). 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 days in total). Pension scheme.
