Security and IT Technician

We are looking for a Security and IT Technician to join our small, hands-on Security and IT team. You will keep our people productive and our environment and systems secure. Your work will cover the service desk, device management, user access and day-to-day security operations. This is a varied, practical role in a modern, cloud-first Microsoft environment. It is a good fit for someone with a support background who wants to build a career in security and IT. You will learn on the job, with mentoring, and develop your skills through funded certifications.Because of the nature of our work, the successful candidate must complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks before starting. They must also be eligible for and willing to undergo UK Security Check (SC) clearance. SC clearance normally requires at least five years’ residency in the UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. One funded professional certification, such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft MD-102, ISO 27001 Foundation or equivalent.Structured mentoring and a clear route to a Security and IT Engineer role.Hands-on experience of a certified (Cyber Essentials Plus) environment, working towards Defense Cyber Security.
