Security Platform Owner

We're looking for a Security Platform Owner to take ownership of the platforms that protect those experiences. This is not a governance role. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can roll their sleeves up, make things happen and build capability from the ground up.

You'll own the roadmap, strategy and day-to-day operation of our customer security platforms, while helping shape the future of Heathrow's platform operating model. Platforms include Cloudflare, Twilio Verify, Checkmarx, Microsoft identity services and other critical security capabilities

• Own the vision, roadmap and operation of Heathrow's customer security platforms
• Work hands-on with engineering, cyber and product teams to solve real problems
• Lead suppliers and partners to deliver better outcomes
• Drive secure-by-design practices across our digital estate
• Balance customer experience, risk, resilience and cost

• Proven experience owning or leading enterprise security platforms
• Strong technical understanding of modern cloud, identity and application security
• Someone equally comfortable discussing strategy with senior leaders and solving operational issues with engineers
• A builder and influencer who thrives in a matrix organisation
• Passion for developing teams, improving platforms and creating lasting capability
• A practical, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to turn ideas into results
