Job Description - Senior Business Development Associate

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Associate to join our Sales team, based in London. An exciting

The successful candidate will be joining at a particularly exciting moment in our journey. Enthuse is now part of Access Group, sitting within its dedicated Not for Profit division — a business that already serves thousands of charities, housing associations and social care organisations across the UK. This means Enthuse benefits from the scale, resource and expertise of one of the UK's leading business management software providers, whilst continuing to focus on what it does best — empowering great causes through innovative digital fundraising technology.



Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be critical in transforming digital fundraising in the UK charity sector — and also help build and grow a company of smart and passionate people. And create a real impact.



How you’ll contribute



  • Engaging with medium and large UK charities to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets, selling market-leading online fundraising technology

  • Conducting the full sales cycle; including outbound prospecting via telephone, email and social mediums, value creation, deep discovery, delivering tailored pitches, and closing

  • Understanding the product-market fit and applying this towards problem-solving for your prospect’s needs

  • Keeping up to date with industry knowledge by identifying opportunities to learn; reading the latest industry blogs, building and maintaining your network and the opportunity to attend some industry events

  • Keeping up to date with latest competitor trends and product knowledge

  • Providing feedback to the Product team and escalating when needed

  • Develop strong relationships with the wider commercial teams including Sales and Customer Success to ensure all opportunities identified are maximised

  • Diligently maintain internal platforms including Hubspot, Intercom, documentation in Confluence and implement improvements when needed  

  • Bringing enthusiasm, energy and motivation to an ambitious and collaborative team 



About you



  • 1+ years experience managing the full end-to-end sales process (preferably in SaaS) with demonstrated success in the role of hitting targets

  • A self-motivated, competitive individual that thrives in a target driven, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to demonstrate resilience and overcome challenges

  • Ability to think on your feet and overcome objections

  • A naturally curious person, the ability to ask productive questions

  • Ability to engage and initiate relationships and understands how to build great rapport

  • A personable, engaging individual with strong communication skills

  • Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders

  • Can demonstrate adaptability and flexibility

  • An ‘always be learning’ mentality, coachable and driven by continuous learning and development

  • Genuine desire to work with the charity sector to help our clients achieve their missions 

  • Excellent teamwork with peers, establishing an overall collaborative working relationship.

  • Good time management and organisational skills
