This could be your opportunity to excel as a Senior Materials Technician, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success. As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Materials Technician to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Senior Materials Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in construction materials testing, along with knowledge of UKAS accredited laboratory practices, is essential to thrive in this position. This role requires the flexibility to work away from home as required. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): • Performing and interpreting a wide range of laboratory and field-based tests • Maintaining equipment calibrations and reporting defects • Auditing, training and development of site technicians Qualifications To be a successful Senior Materials Technician, you should be able to demonstrate: • Previous experience working in a UKAS accredited laboratory • Valid CSCS card • Full UK driving licence Additional Information Why SOCOTEC?
