Specialising in refurbishment, maintenance, and new build schemes, they work across the commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, residential, and public sectors, building long-term relationships through quality delivery and exceptional client service. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a collaborative approach to project delivery, the business offers a supportive environment where employees are empowered to take ownership of their work. As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for: Taking full commercial ownership of projects from contract award through to final account Producing accurate CVRs, forecasts, cash flow reports, and commercial reporting Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontract accounts Preparing, submitting, and negotiating interim valuations, variations, and final accounts Managing project costs, commercial risks, and identifying opportunities to maximise profitability Administering contracts, primarily under JCT forms of contract (NEC experience advantageous) Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to improve project performance Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and Directors, providing commercial insight across your projects The Ideal Candidate The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or be a strong Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior role Experience within a Main Contractor environment Strong commercial experience across refurbishment, maintenance, and new build projects Excellent knowledge of CVRs, forecasting, cost control, and commercial reporting Experience procuring subcontractors and managing subcontract accounts Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC knowledge would be advantageous) Excellent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Full UK Driving Licence MRICS or MCIOB status, or a desire to work towards professional accreditation, would be advantageous What's on Offer Competitive basic salary of £65,000 - £70,000 Car allowance Performance-related bonus Hybrid working with a mix of site, office, and home working Support towards MRICS and MCIOB professional accreditation Opportunity to join a growing and financially secure regional main contractor Genuine autonomy and direct access to senior decision-makers Long-term career progression within a business with a strong pipeline of secured work Collaborative and supportive working environment Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
