We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Outdoor Activity Tutor to join Lancashire Outdoor Education Service and help shape exceptional outdoor learning experiences across our centres.
Operating from Tower Wood, our service provides high-quality outdoor adventure and residential experiences for schools, youth groups, adults and community organisations. From Canoeing and Climbing to Caving and Ghyll scrambling, we help people learn about themselves, others and the environment through outdoor learning.
As a Senior Outdoor Activity Tutor, you will combine activity delivery with operational responsibilities, supporting the day-to-day management of our centres while helping to maintain the highest standards of safety, customer experience and outdoor education.

Who We're Looking For
Experienced Outdoor Professional
We're looking for someone with significant experience in outdoor education who can confidently lead activities, work independently and support wider centre operations. You'll have a passion for delivering outstanding experiences and mentoring others within a collaborative team environment.
Leadership & Operational Skills
You'll be comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions and supporting centre operations within the Lancashire outdoor education framework. Strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to maintain high operational standards are essential.
Communication & Customer Focus
You'll be a confident communicator who can engage with a wide variety of groups, colleagues and partners. A professional, customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences is key.
Safety & Compliance
You will demonstrate excellent safety awareness and risk management skills, ensuring activities and centre operations are delivered to the highest standards.
