Service Advisor

Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic (Depending on Experience) + Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

The Opportunity

Pybus Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership in the Richmond area of North Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused automotive professional looking to join a busy and successful aftersales team. The role offers a competitive basic salary of between £30,000 and £35,000, depending on experience. Candidates joining at the lower end of the salary scale will have the opportunity to earn an additional £5,000 bonus, while those appointed at the higher end will receive a more limited bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service and repair process
Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance, and repair work
Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and any additional work required
Preparing job cards and ensuring all customer and vehicle information is accurately recorded
Liaising closely with technicians and the workshop team to ensure efficient workflow
Managing customer queries and resolving any issues professionally and promptly
Promoting additional products and services where appropriate
Ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are maintained at all times

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry is essential
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
Good organisational and administrative skills
Confident user of dealership management systems
A professional and positive attitude with a genuine focus on customer satisfaction
Full UK driving licence preferred
