The Role:
As their new Site Supervisor, youâll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our projects run smoothly from start to finish. Your role will be vital in overseeing the day-to-day on-site activities, making sure everything stays on track, from managing materials to coordinating teams. Youâll be part of a tight-knit group thatâs dedicated to delivering excellence in facade and cladding projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the Team: Youâll organize and supervise operations on-site, working closely with the Branch Manager to keep everything on schedule.
- Making Sure We're Ready: Youâll order the materials and services needed to get the job done, ensuring that timelines are met and that every project is set up for success.
- Safety First: Youâll prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and make sure all work is carried out safely, following our strict standards.
- Quality Control: Youâll ensure that the Quality Plan is in place and that records are kept, so we maintain the high standards weâre known for.
- Keeping Everyone Informed: Youâll attend coordination and safety meetings, providing updates and making sure any challenges are addressed quickly.
- Reporting and Admin: Youâll prepare weekly reports and manage the weekly wages, making sure everything is accurate and ready for approval.
What We're Looking For:
- Industry Knowledge: Youâve got solid experience in the flat roofing industry, and any knowledge of facade and cladding works is a huge plus.
- Leadership Skills: Youâre confident in managing a team and leading by example on-site.
- Qualified: You hold an SMSTS qualification, and ideally, you either have or are working towards a CSCS Black Card.
- Organised and Tech-Savvy: Youâre comfortable using computers and have a good grasp of general software to keep things running efficiently.
- Problem Solver: You can think on your feet and arenât afraid to tackle challenges head-on.
