Structural Engineer Facades & Cladding

Our Client are specialists in the Façade & Cladding sector and work with a range of systems and materials are now looking to appoint a structural engineer to the team.

The role would suit somebody who is looking to take a step up in their career and take the lead on the engineering side.

The Structural Engineer will:

• Be fluent in AutoCAD to generate Façade elevations and details.
  


• Generate design/structural calculations in line with BS and Eurocode standards.
  

• BS and Eurocode standards
  


• Autocad
  


• ANSYS ENTERPRISE for structural analysis and simulation (training would be given)
  


• Wind load calculations
  


• U-value calculations
  


• Mechanical testing and climate chamber facilities for material testing (training would be given)
  


• 3+ years’ experience is required.
  

The successful engineer will be expected to attend/initiate site visits and video meetings to communicate their work and obtain design related information to complete their design calculations.
