About the Role

We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team for an exciting tankage project based near Great Yarmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant industrial project alongside a skilled and experienced team, delivering high-quality work within a safety-focused environment. The project is expected to run for approximately eight weeks, with a twelve-day fortnight working pattern in place.

As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for welding structural steel platework associated with tank construction and maintenance activities. Working to strict quality and safety standards, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project.

What We're Looking For

You will hold a recognised welding trade qualification and have proven experience welding structural steel within heavy industrial environments. Previous experience working on tankage projects would be highly advantageous.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• A recognised welding trade qualification
• Experience welding structural steel platework
• Previous experience within heavy industry, tankage, petrochemical, energy, or similar industrial sectors
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and proactive approach to delivering work to high standards

Welding activities will be carried out using the MMA welding process and will be completed to relevant EN and ASME standards. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a weld test as part of the selection process.

.Qualifications & Certification Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Welding, Fabrication & Welding or equivalent recognised apprenticeship qualification.
• Any additional site-specific certificates, safety training, or industry-recognised qualifications will be advantageous.
• CCNSG. ECITB safety passport
