The Opportunity: As a Technical Lead in the innovation programme team, you'll be at the heart of the work in RF Directed Energy Systems a fast growing, strategically important area for the business and the UK defence sector. This is a rare chance to guide groundbreaking research, see ideas transform into real-world systems, and work on technology that is genuinely world-leading. In this role, you will: Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering RF DEW development activities. Oversee electromagnetic modelling, electrical architecture analysis, system testing and design. Collaborate closely with the Design Lead to drive design decisions, trade-off studies and technical direction. Take accountability for technical leadership, project delivery and budget management. Shape cutting-edge technology that will influence future defence capability. What we're looking for: Proven track record delivering complex engineering development activities. Experience leading teams, encouraging collaboration and driving technical delivery. A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or similar.
