Role: Technical Test Analyst

Location: Huddersfield Town Centre

Salary & Benefits: Salary Up To £45,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Working Hours: 9am – 5:00pm

The Role

An enthusiastic Technical Test Analyst is required to join a friendly team in a pragmatic, innovative and forward-thinking technology company based in Huddersfield.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and design and develop tests
• Testing API’s, Web and Mobile Applications
• Document and analyse results, providing feedback to Internal and External Customers
• Liaise with project managers and development teams to understand and plan bug resolutions
• Ensure the products being delivered are fit for purpose
• Ensuring releases are delivered on time to the required quality
• Assist in bug logging and management

Essential

• Knowledge and experience of testing API’s
• Demonstrable history of testing and testing Applications that are built on a Public Cloud
• Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues.
• Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person.
• Willingness and ability to create and adapt to new technologies.
• Passion for learning and experimenting with new technologies 
• Ability to share and introduce new ideas in a team environment

Desirable

• Experience with databases, for example performing SQL queries to validate test results
• Experience with Performance, Scale, Load or Stress testing, preferably on an API level
• Experience with testing methods for security of API’s, Web and Mobile Applications
• Test automation skills
