Job Description - Telesales Executive

Job Description

Our client is a leading independent supplier of door and patio canopies with a well-established reputation within this competitive sector with their head office based in Lancashire.

Due to the rapid growth within the company they are now seeking a sales professional to spearhead the sales department to ensure the growth is maintained. The business benefits from nationwide coverage with an attractive uncapped commission structure.

Responsibilities:

This role is ideally suited to an enthusiastic, forward-thinking telesales operative with experience in prospecting to generate leads to maximise on sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record prospecting and generating sales however the key element is your attitude and desire to succeed.

You will be provided with leads from Barbour ABI who specialise in supplying plot development data for new build homes and commercial properties including the contact information for the project manager. The role will consist of ascertaining whether the new builds require canopies and to finalise the sale. The company do offer bespoke fitted canopies however 90% of sales will consist of standard fitting canopies.

This is an exciting time to join the company as the role will initially start as telesales eventually evolving to account management once relationships have been formed with site developers.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Telesales, cold calling or prospecting experience

Previous experience in a B2B sales or account management environment

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to the client

Ability to quickly build rapport with a professional approach and maintain a relationship with customers.

Experience within construction sales is advantageous

Experience using a CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics 

Benefits:

Package includes an attractive salary of up to £20,000 dependent on experience with uncapped commission with a realistic OTA of £25,000 in the first year

Working hours are 09.00 – 17.00 Monday
