The successful Technical Coordinator should have: ·Previous experience within a food manufacturing, quality, or technical environment. ·A working knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and GMP. ·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. ·The ability to maintain accurate records and manage technical documentation. ·Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. ·A proactive approach and willingness to support a busy technical team. ·Experience of BRC standards would be advantageous. In this role, the Technical Coordinator will be responsible for: ·Supporting the day-to-day operation of the site's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, including HACCP and GMP. ·Maintaining technical documentation, specifications, traceability records, and quality data. ·Assisting with audits, ensuring compliance with BRC standards, customer requirements, and relevant legislation. ·Supporting investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. ·Coordinating product testing, sampling, and quality assessments, escalating any out-of-specification results where required. ·Supporting new product and process development activities, including product launches and specification management. ·Monitoring food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across the site, promoting continuous improvement. ·Providing administrative and technical support to the wider Technical team. Our client is offering the successful Technical Coordinator an hourly rate of £14.42 per hour plus benefits including holiday allowance.
