To ensure the safe and efficient implementation of high-speed temporary traffic management (TTM) systems, enabling roadworks and maintenance operations to proceed in compliance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual (TSM), follow industry standards, and company policies to support seamless traffic flow that minimises public inconvenience and ensures worksite safety.
To “manage” the Health and Safety of the people in their charge as well as environmental issues. As TMF’s, you are expected to lead by example and set the standards for workers to follow, to raise awareness and improve the culture and profile of SHE. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

To Supervise and lead a team responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic management systems on high-speed roads, ensuring safety for road users, workforce, and the public.
Conduct regular site checks to proactively identify and address safety risk, ensuring all traffic management operations maintain high standards of safety.
Document and report on-site activity, incidents, and compliance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Provide clear instructions, guidance, and hands-on support to team members, reinforcing safe practices and compliance.
Support ongoing training, mentoring, and development of team members to promote a culture of safety and efficiency.
