Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic and confident Unqualified Teachers to support secondary schools across Farnborough. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy leading groups, feel comfortable guiding a classroom, and want valuable paid experience in education before moving into teaching, mentoring, or further study.
You'll step into the classroom in place of the teacher, deliver the pre‑planned work, and keep students engaged and on task. The Role:
Deliver and supervise lessons using pre‑set materials Lead classes independently across KS3 & KS4 Maintain behaviour expectations and classroom routines Support students with questions and general learning tasks Provide cover at short notice or through pre‑booked arrangements Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times Help create a calm, positive, and productive environment
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with young people (youth work, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, etc.) Confident leading groups and managing behaviour Strong communication and organisation skills Adaptable and comfortable covering a variety of subjects Positive, proactive, and reliable Graduates or aspiring teachers highly encouraged
Contract Details:
Position: Unqualified Teacher Location: Farnborough Start: ASAP Working Pattern: Full‑time, part‑time, or day‑to‑day Pay Rate: Up to £130 per day Year Groups: KS3-KS4
Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
Experience with children or young people essential Classroom or behaviour‑support experience beneficial Safeguarding training available
Eligibility:
Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) Two references required
