Automotive Driver - Vehicle Collection & Delivery

Location: Bicester / UK-wide travel
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Fixed-Term / Flexible Ad-Hoc Hours

We are currently recruiting Automotive Drivers for our client based near Bicester. The company is a well-established name within the UK automotive industry, with more than 100 years of experience working with major vehicle manufacturers and dealer networks.

This position offers flexible, ad-hoc working, with assignments offered according to business requirements. There are no guaranteed hours, and you will be paid for the hours you actually work.

The Opportunity

As an Automotive Driver, you will be responsible for moving vehicles between various locations throughout the UK. The role involves travelling to different destinations, completing vehicle handovers and ensuring each vehicle is delivered safely and professionally.

Once a delivery or collection has been completed, you will normally return to the Bicester area by train.

Your Duties

Drive and relocate vehicles safely throughout the UK
Collect vehicles from customers, dealerships and other locations
Complete vehicle handovers and explain basic vehicle functions where required
Use a company-issued Samsung tablet to complete digital paperwork and update systems
Follow company processes and health & safety procedures
Deliver a professional and courteous service to customers
Work closely with the wider team to ensure vehicle movements are completed efficiently

What We Need From You

Full, clean UK manual driving licence
At least 2 years' driving experience
Comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles
Safe and confident driving style
Good communication and customer service skills
Confident using tablets and computer-based systems
Reliable and flexible approach to work
Willingness to accept ad-hoc assignments
Friendly, professional and positive attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
