You'll be joining a manufacturer-owned dealership with a modern workshop, excellent equipment and structured manufacturer training. Technician Benefits Access to a salary sacrifice, tax-efficient new car scheme (ECOS/ECOP), with vehicles available from £48 per month and replaced annually with high-specification models Family Car Scheme, typically from £139 per month, with the first vehicle available after probation and a second vehicle available after 12 months' service Car insurance included on both schemes 33 days' annual leave, increasing to 36 days with service Pension scheme including permanent health insurance and death-in-service benefit Enhanced Maternity and Paternity policies Structured career path with World-Class Manufacturer training – no one knows Renault better than us as we're manufacturer-owned Share Incentive Scheme Staff discounts on new and used vehicles, parts, servicing and accessories Cycle to Work scheme, including e-bikes Discounted gym membership Eye test voucher scheme Mortgage and pension advice seminars A well-supported working environment with modern tools and equipment What You'll Do Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repair work in line with manufacturer standards Undertake diagnostic, fault-finding and electrical repair activities Complete MOT testing where qualified Follow workshop processes, quality standards and health and safety requirements Road-test vehicles where required as part of diagnosis and quality control procedures Use workshop systems and manufacturer platforms to accurately record completed work What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who hold a Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification and have experience working within a professional workshop environment. You'll ideally demonstrate: Level 3 IMI, NVQ or equivalent Motor Vehicle qualification Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostic work MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7) would be advantageous A professional approach with strong attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a workshop team If you don't currently hold an MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7), we can support the right candidate in obtaining this qualification. Driving Licence Requirement: A full UK manual driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles) is essential for this role. Hours & Pay This role is based on a 40-hour working week. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Saturday mornings are worked on a 1-in-4 rota basis 8am to 12pm, paid at time-and-a-half. Qualified Vehicle Technicians holding a Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification will receive a basic salary of £37,000 pa, with achievable and regularly reached OTE earnings of £42,550 pa. Vehicle Technicians who also hold a current MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7) will receive a basic salary of £38,000 pa, with achievable and regularly reached OTE earnings of £43,700 pa.
