You\u2019ll step into a senior leadership position where you\u2019ll champion technical excellence, build a thriving engineering culture, and deliver innovative solutions that help millions of customers connect with Vodafone in meaningful ways.\n\nWhat you\u2019ll do\n\nIn this role, you\u2019ll become the technology lead for all things Digital Home Broadband \u2014 setting direction, inspiring teams, and ensuring every solution delivers value for both customers and the business.\n\nYou will:\n\n * Lead the full delivery of Vodafone UK\u2019s broadband digital channels, ensuring high\u2011quality outcomes regardless of platform or channel.\n * Shape and drive the technical roadmap \u2014 setting goals, defining project timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring everything lands on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard.\n * Bring engineering and business teams together, creating seamless communication and alignment around shared outcomes and evolving customer needs.\n * Build and nurture high\u2011performing engineering teams, coaching leaders, mentoring talent, and fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, growth, and modern engineering practices.\n * Blend Business Agility and DevSecOps ways of working with Vodafone\u2019s operating model, championing innovation and technical excellence.\n * Guide technical design across our Buy journeys, ensuring solutions align with strategic intent and deliver an outstanding customer experience.\n * Act as the technical subject\u2011matter expert for product owners, analysts, architects, commercial teams, and other critical stakeholders.\n * Support long\u2011term commercial and technology planning, helping shape new features that meet future demand.\n * Drive best\u2011in\u2011class performance, ensuring reliability, scalability, and customer satisfaction sit at the heart of every delivery.\n\n\n\nWho you are \n\n * You\u2019ll bring deep, end\u2011to\u2011end knowledge of engineering technologies such as React, Java, Node.js, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud\u2011native architectures.\n * You have proven experience leading engineering teams and shaping high\u2011performance cultures.\n * You\u2019re confident in Agile delivery, with hands\u2011on experience in Scrum and/or Kanban.\n * You communicate with clarity and impact, adapting your style to your audience.\n * You\u2019ve successfully led teams and projects across multiple locations and thrive in a collaborative, fast\u2011paced environment.\n\n\n\n## \n\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly? \n\nWe know that everyone is unique, with multiple aspects to their identity and different experiences behind them.
