Weekend Housekeeper / Nanny 

A warm family of four with two children aged 4 and 6 is seeking a reliable, long-term Weekend Housekeeper / Babysitter  to support the family at weekends.

The main role will involve a thorough house reset from 2:00pm–5:00pm, followed by childcare and bedtime duties on most weekends. Additional hours may be available for weekday babysitting, family entertaining or longer childcare requirements.

Duties

• Full house reset, including cleaning, hoovering, mopping, dusting, beds, bins and dishwasher.
  


• General tidying and restoring the house to order.
  


• Washing up and keeping laundry moving.
  


• Preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
  


• Supervising age-appropriate play and activities.
  


• Managing bath, dressing and bedtime routines, including stories.
  


• Communicating clearly with the parents regarding the children and household.
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in both childcare and housekeeping.
  


• Warm, caring and able to build a genuine long-term relationship with the children.
  


• Highly reliable, communicative and organised.
  


• Flexible and happy to provide additional hours when required.
  


• Good spoken English.
  


• Full UK driving licence and ideally based local to the Banbury/Oxford area.
  


• Excellent references available.
  

Occasional early weekend childcare from approximately 7:30am–10:30/11:00am would also be welcomed, so flexibility around hours is desirable.
