Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Workshop Assistant to join their team in Winchester. As a Workshop Assistant, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of metal finishing techniques, assembly work, and various machining tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform product finishing tasks such as brass polishing, chemical finishing (bronzing), and spray painting. Conduct assembly work, including the assembly of floor lamps and other related products. Utilize machining tools such as a pillar drill, lathe, and hand tools to complete assigned tasks. Carry out bonding processes such as welding and soldering.
Job Requirements
Prior experience in metal finishing, assembly, or related fields is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment. Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timelines.
