Known for delivering high-quality handling and access solutions, they are expanding their workshop team and looking for an experienced Forklift Engineer. What’s on Offer 24 days holiday + bank holidays (32 total) Overtime available at 1.5x rate Ongoing training & development (electrical, mechanical & diagnostics) Company pension scheme Stable, workshop-based role (minimal travel) Excellent career progression opportunities Strong earning potential The Role Based at the Wellingborough site, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of forklift trucks and plant machinery within a workshop environment. Key responsibilities include: Diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing, and completing repairs on forklift and plant equipment Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used machinery Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding Working on key systems including: Engines Batteries Hydraulics Pneumatics Reconditioning and preparing equipment for hire or resale Completing job sheets and service records accurately Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop What We’re Looking For ? Experience working in the plant, agricultural, HGV or material handling industries (essential) ? Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems (essential) ? Experience with engines and battery-powered equipment ? Solid fault finding, service, and repair skills ? NVQ / City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) ?
