Apprenticeship Overview:
Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
Working Week: Monday - Sunday (30 hours per week, shift to be confirmed)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: 13 months

As an Adult Care Apprentice, you will:
Deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings.
Support with personal care, daily living activities, mobility, meals and hydration.
Provide medication support where trained, competent and authorised.
Encourage independence, wellbeing and participation in social and community activities.
Observe and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing.
Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
Follow care plans, risk assessments and Caring@Home Ltd policies and procedures.
Comply with safeguarding, health and safety and infection control requirements.
Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues and other professionals.
Complete apprenticeship training, attend learning sessions and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications:
GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 4–9 (A*–C) desirable

Pre-employment checks.
