As a Materials Testing Apprentice, you'll work in our cutting-edge laboratories, testing materials to make sure they meet strict quality, safety and environmental standards. Get stuck in from day one You'll be working alongside experienced laboratory technicians and material scientists, getting hands on with testing equipment and sustainable building materials and learning how things work in the real world. You'll build practical skills in materials science, laboratory testing, quality control and data analysis, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
