Part-Time Evening Cleaner Musselburgh

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Evening Cleaner to work at a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Musselburgh.

This is a part-time cleaning position working Monday to Friday, providing 12 hours of work per week.

Working Hours

• Monday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm – 2 hours
  
• Tuesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
  
• Wednesday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
  
• Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
  
• Friday: 5:00pm – 7:30pm – 2.5 hours
  
• Total: 12 hours per week
  

Duties

• General cleaning throughout the site
  
• Cleaning offices and communal areas
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building
  

Requirements

Requirements

Due to the nature of the DWP site, successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:

• BPSS clearance required
  
• Valid Right to Work documentation
  
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
• Comfortable with lone working
  
• Comfortable acting as a key holder and operating an alarm panel where required
  
• Able to commit to the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
  

Candidates will also be required to use a telephone-based time and attendance system to clock in and out.

£12.71 per hour | 12 hours per week | Monday to Friday
