Careers at Granville T Woods Academy Of Innovation Charter School

The Granville T. Woods Academy of Innovation located in Memphis, Tennessee, and serve students grades kindergarten through 8th who are eligible to attend schools in the Shelby County Schools district. GTW’s academic focus will be on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (“STEM”) that will be delivered through a fully integrated Project Based Learning (“PBL”) environment. Students will be engaged and learn through hands-on, interdisciplinary projects that address real-world problems and challenges, transforming students from passive receivers of information into enthusiastic learners, thinkers and problem-solvers who assume greater responsibility for their learning. Emphasis will be on the principle that all students will graduate as collaborative, informed, resourceful and reflective individuals who are high school ready, college-bound, career-prepared, and community-minded.
