As a CVICU Nurse applying for this position, you will be joining a Detroit MI facility which is a leading hospital in advancing medicine and delivering the most innovative treatments. Patients from around the country travel to receive specialized care. We specialize in Cardiology, Heart Failure, and Cardiothoracic Surgery. The patient population we care for includes but is not limited to heart/lung transplant, LVAD insertion; direct post-op CABG, AMI, cardiogenic shock, TAVR, ECMO, Impella, Tandem Heart. Our Heart Failure, ECMO and Structural Heart programs are all growing immensely, not only in patient volume but also in complexity as our patients are very diverse. A teaching and research hospital.
