Experienced Lead Craftsman (Commercial / Residential)

Fast Track to Foreman

Prospect Hill Properties performs commercial and residential renovation work with a strong focus on clean execution, professionalism, and quality results in active and occupied environments. We are hiring an Experienced Lead Craftsman who can produce hands-on across multiple trades, lead by example in the field, and grow quickly into a Foreman-track role as our operations scale.

This is a working lead position — not a management-only role. We are looking for someone who can self-perform, help direct field activity, maintain quality, and keep jobs moving with urgency and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

• Perform hands-on field work across multiple renovation scopes


• Lead by example in drywall, patching, floating, paint, punch, finish work, light framing, and general remodel scopes


• Support bathroom and kitchen renovation work as required by project needs


• Read plans, verify field conditions, and help translate scope into clean field execution


• Coordinate day-to-day production with field leadership and assist with crew direction as needed


• Help stage materials, sequence work, maintain pace, and keep projects organized


• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite in commercial and residential environments


• Protect adjacent finishes and work carefully in occupied spaces


• Identify issues early, communicate clearly, and help solve field problems before they become delays


• Help close punch efficiently and hold a high standard for workmanship and professionalism


• Set the tone on site for pace, accountability, and jobsite conduct

What You Must Bring

• Strong hands-on experience in remodel and construction field work


• Ability to self-perform across multiple trades with limited supervision


• Experience in drywall install/repair, float, prep, paint, punch, and general finish work


• Ability to lead smaller workstreams or help direct day-to-day field execution


• Strong jobsite awareness, urgency, and professionalism


• Reliable transportation


• Ability to work in both commercial and residential environments


• Ability to lift materials, use tools safely, and handle physically demanding work

Requirements

• Experience required


• Entry-level applicants will not be considered


• Must pass background check


• Valid driver’s license preferred

Growth Path

This role is intended as a fast track to Foreman for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who not only produces quality work, but also demonstrates leadership, accountability, communication, and field presence.

Pay

• $25–$28/hour based on experience and verified skill


• Overtime paid in accordance with applicable law


• Weekly pay

• Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, or occasional night work may be required depending on the job
