Position: Sheet Metal 2 Instructor

Job Description: We are seeking experienced and passionate professionals to join our team. As an instructor at MCTI, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and industry knowledge with aspiring craft professionals, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in their chosen field. MCTI uses NCCER curriculum for instruction.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical demonstrations in your area of expertise.
   


2. Provide individualized support and guidance to students to facilitate their learning and skill development.


3. Evaluate student progress through assessments, projects, and practical exercises.


4. Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to enhance the quality of education and training provided.

Requirements:

1. Journeyman level (or equivalent) of experience in sheet metal work is preferred.


2. Proficiency in relevant technical skills and knowledge, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques is preferred.


3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.


4. Teaching or training experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt instructional methods.


5. Relevant industry certifications and licenses are a plus.
