A little about this position:

• Operate and Maintain the Via Ferrata and all components in a safe and enjoyable manner for the participant through safety instruction and route guiding, course organization and gear explanation.
• Guide guests to outstanding experience through superior guest service.

Requirements:

• Must have completed an SPI training course and assessment from AMGA
• Previous experience as a mountaineering guide or as an adventure sports coach
• Expert rope handling skills are required and a minimum of 5 years mountaineering experience
• Must be able to identify object dangers associated in mountaineering
• Must have self-rescue knowledge
• Must have experience in rope anchoring and haul systems
• Accomplished and experienced in Trad, Ice, Alpine climbing
• Must have the ability to work with diverse groups of people and confidence in ability to instruct groups and enforce procedures
• Experience leading children/adults and a passion for working with kids
• Good communication and customer service skills
• CPR and/or First Aid Training a plus
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $35.21
