Substitute Teacher (MS/US, LS, EE Department available) (2025-2026 School Year)

New Life is actively hiring Substitute Teachers in all grade levels! 

We offer an inviting, Christian setting with supportive administrators and an engaged student body. Our substitute teachers are responsible for carrying out teacher substitute plans, building student relationships, maintaining classroom routines and rules, and engaging students in learning. It is expected that substitute teachers will model Christian character in their classroom leadership and will uphold high academic and behavior standards. 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Interact with parent, students, and staff in a positive Christ-centered manner 
• Reinforce established school and classroom routines 
• Provide instruction per curriculum plans provided 
• Consistently engage students through interactive lessons 
• Offer feedback to students to support their learning 
• Attend teacher meetings, as requested 
• Partner with administrators and parents to meet learning objectives 
• Provide clear, timely communication to classroom teacher needed for seamless transition in and out of the classroom 

Pay

• $150 daily 

Hours:

• 7:30am – 3:30pm

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Former experience working with youth in academic programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Current teaching license 
• 3+ years of teaching experience in an Early Education or K-12 school setting 
• Experience teaching in a faith-based school
