Adelphi is seeking Teachers of the Visually Impaired to provide services to students at schools in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidates will deliver specialized instructional services to support students with visual impairments in achieving academic and functional success.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive functional vision and learning media assessments to determine educational impact.

• Provide direct instruction and implement appropriate material adaptations to support academic access.

• Recommend, implement, and support assistive technology solutions for students with visual impairments.

• Collaborate with Orientation & Mobility specialists and classroom teachers to ensure coordinated service delivery.

• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute data -driven recommendations to support student success.

• Any other duties as assigned.
