Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to improve activities of daily living, mobility, and functional independence.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and adaptive strategies to support safe functional performance.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and communicate progress to the interdisciplinary care team.
- Assist with discharge planning and placement decisions to promote continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, documentation requirements, and patient safety procedures.
Requirements
- Active North Dakota Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure as required.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
- Preferred experience in acute care or long-term care settings; ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to fulfill a 36-hour workweek on a day-shift schedule.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-handling skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
