Responsibilities
- Apply ionizing radiation to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription and instructions.
- Safely operate radiation-producing equipment, applying all radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
- Perform a series of complex and precise technical procedures under standard operating protocols.
- Prepare and position patients, use immobilization devices as needed, and verify treatment parameters.
- Conduct routine quality assurance checks and ensure accuracy of treatment delivery.
- Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist, physics staff, dosimetrists, and the broader therapy team; document procedures and patient responses accurately.

Requirements
- Ability to operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and adherence to ALARA principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise treatment prescriptions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the oncology care team.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to travel for a temporary assignment.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced medical setting and maintain patient-centered care.
