ER Registered Nurse – Emergency Department | York, Maine, United States | Start May 18, 2026 | 13-week travel assignment | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with potential daytime hours (1:00 pm–1:30 am) as census dictates. This is a hospital-based ED position requiring strong clinical skills, facility-level collaboration, and leadership when needed. Weekly pay ranges from $1,949 to $2,022.

Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessment and triage in a fast-paced ED environment.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document vital signs; administer medications and IV therapy as ordered.
- Respond to emergencies, assist with resuscitation, and participate in patient stabilization procedures.
- Collaborate with the ED team, including physicians, techs, and other RNs; provide primary nursing care and coordinate patient flow.
- Serve in charge nurse capacity as needed, guiding and precepting less-experienced staff and new hires.
- Complete accurate documentation, maintain patient safety, and ensure proper handoffs at shift change.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of Maine
- BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS is a plus
- Previous charge and preceptor experience is a must
- Experience in an emergency department setting or demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-acuity ED care
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with potential for occasional daytime adjustments
- Must be able to function competently in a hospital ED environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
