10080 - Avionics Equipment Specialist Support - Senior

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a senior technical authority for F-16 avionics systems, providing advanced expertise and oversight.

• Provide assistance in troubleshooting avionics systems and developing improvements to resolve fielded and fielding system issues.

• Support avionics systems including radar, controls and displays, data bus, communications, navigation, identification, electronic warfare, and sensor systems.

• Act as the technical content manager for assigned avionics systems and Technical Orders (TOs).

• Assist in establishing requirements and preparing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and TOs.

• Support verification, inspection, repair, and testing of complete weapon systems.

• Participate in technical verification teams and publication reviews.

• Oversee and guide junior and journeyman contractor personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level avionics expertise.

• Minimum of 10 years of F-16 aircraft maintenance experience.

• Experience in avionics development, integration, and sustainment.

• Demonstrated experience in a DoD environment.

Education & Certification

- Master’s or Doctoral degree with 10 years of experience (5 in DoD), OR

- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience (5 in DoD), OR

- 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications (8 in DoD).

Clearance Requirement

- Active Secret clearance

- U.S. citizenship required.
