1:1 Nurse (SY 24-25)- Contract
Location: Nashua, NH, 03060
Responsibilities:

• Care for emergencies, render first-aid and, if necessary, make arrangements for further treatment


• Contact parents to advise them of the child's illness, if required; notify the school office concerning children released from school because of illness


• Under the direction of the Principal, inquire into unexplained pupil absences


• Check the immunization records of all students to ensure compliance with R.S.A. 200:38; notify parents of deficiencies and inform the Principal of non-compliance


• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and policies including those of the administration of prescribed medication


• Maintain health, medication, clinic, and examination records and files; keep a daily log of activities; maintain supply inventory in compliance with district and state nursing regulations, policies, and procedures


• Assist and advise LPNs, LNAs, and teachers assigned to special needs students or classrooms

Qualifications:

• Certified in Basic Life Support CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator)


• Prior experience with pediatric, adolescent or urgent/emergency care


• Must have New Hampshire RN license


• Bachelors degree in Nursing.
