1st Shift Shipping & Receiving

We are currently seeking a dependable individual to join our Shipping & Receiving department. If you're looking to be part of a supportive, family-oriented team, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Grand Rapids, MI 49512 (Required)
• In person

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders
- Pick, pack, and ship orders using MRP system
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and reach trucks
- Load and unload trucks
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Ensure all shipping and receiving documents are properly completed and filed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and reach trucks
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
