Summary:
The Internal Program Canvasser engages the community on campaign messaging per a legally-vetted script and carries out related follow-up outreach activities by conducting classroom presentations, doing tabling, doing outreach at events, going door-to-door, making phone calls, and/or texting under the supervision of the Team lead. The person in this role should be strongly motivated to do community organizing work, able to converse enthusiastically in person, over the phone, and by text to contact and mobilize the community. Training and scripts are provided. This position is central to mass mobilizing young voters of color via volunteer recruitment, community organizing, and community voter events.
