Westward Seafoods, Alyeska, and the Northern Victor are recruiting Seasonal Seafood Processors for the 2027 A Season in Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
Our three locations are:
Westward Seafoods — Captains Bay
Alyeska
Northern Victor

This is seasonal seafood processing work. The job can be physically demanding, cold, wet, and fast-paced.

You must be prepared to:
Work 12+ hours per day when fish are available
Work 7 days a week
Work day or night shifts
Stand for long periods
Perform repetitive work
Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
Bend, twist, climb stairs, and work on wet or slippery surfaces
Work in cold and wet conditions
Maintain regular and on-time attendance
Work and live with people from many different backgrounds
Hours are not guaranteed. Seafood production depends on fish availability. There may be times when there are fewer hours or no work available.
Seattle, Washington is your Point of Hire.
You are responsible for getting yourself from your home city to Seattle, Washington.
Westward Seafoods will provide your transportation from Seattle to Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
Employees are provided company housing and meals.
Room and Board is $20 per day when you work 8 hours or more.
The charge will be deducted from your paycheck.
Our plants process several types of seafood, including:
Pollock
Crab
Pacific Cod
Halibut
Sablefish
Depending on production needs, you may be assigned to:
Butchering
Sorting
Filleting
Case-up and packaging
Plant clean-up
Other production duties as assigned
You must be willing to work wherever you are needed.
Safety is everyone's responsibility.
Employees must:
Wear required protective and safety equipment
Follow all plant safety procedures
Follow supervisor instructions
Be able to quickly walk to designated areas during an emergency
Follow emergency instructions
Westward Seafoods has a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol.
