Job Description - 2nd Shift Electrician

Industrial Electrician

Direct Hire Opportunity

Compensation: $48,000 - $80,000

Relocation Assistance Available

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a manufacturing team responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and production equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance specifications
Diagnose electrical, control, and communication system failures and perform necessary repairs
Install and maintain electrical wiring, transformers, circuit breakers, communication systems, and control equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
Fabricate and modify components using shop equipment including drill presses, band saws, shears, and pipe threading machines
Perform soldering and silver soldering as required
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with electrical codes and plant standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
Completion of a State Licensed Journeyman Apprenticeship Program, relevant Trade School program, or related Associate Degree
Manufacturing experience or IBEW experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

State Licensed Journeyman Electrician
3-5 years of industrial electrical experience
At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

Experience with some or all of the following is preferred:

PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Process control instrumentation
Industrial process equipment
Electrical systems and controls
Stainless steel fabrication
Welding and fabrication
Industrial piping systems
Computer and software applications
