2nd Shift Mixer - 5:30 pm to 5:30 am - M thru Th - $24.56/hr

Summary/Objective 

The position of Mixer at More Than a Bakery is expected to effectively and efficiently perform the expectations and guidelines outlined herein and be an active team member on our staff.

Essential Functions

1. Responsible for ensuring the production of safe and high quality products through verification of all processes and keen attention to all of More Than a Bakery’s Critical Control Points.

2. Sort and separate any below standard product to be dispositioned by Supervision and Quality.

3. Maintain awareness of equipment and product quality.

4. Ensure all product being produced is meeting moisture specifications.  Work with Quality and Supervision to identify the necessary adjustments and correct the ovens as necessary to keep product within specification.

5. Record accurate oven parameter settings for each product and ensure that any changes made are communicated to the on-coming shift and to Supervision; document if necessary.

6. Ensure scrap containers are weighed and collected prior to leaving at the end of each shift and at each changeover.

7. Analyze statistics regarding internal data such as throughputs, productivity, scrap and percent to goal calculations.

8. Follow all GMPs as well as HACCP Procedures; Understand, observe and comply with the handling and proper usage of color coded containers.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Mechanical and electrical knowledge

3. Minimum of 2 years’ related experience and/or training, preferably in manufacturing or distribution companies
