Job Description - 2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Transformers

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Transformers. \n\nThis role is based out of our Waukesha, WI location. No relocation assistance will be provided. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nAs a Production Supervisor, you will direct departmental activities and initiate/participate in cross-functional activities to accomplish the objectives of safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement, which focuses on removing cost from the business as well as meeting departmental metrics, goals, and objectives.\n\nIn this role, you will: \n\n * Champion a Zero Incident safety culture and ensure compliance with safety standards.\n * Align Eaton Quality System priorities with department needs and drive continuous improvement.\n * Manage daily operations, set production priorities, and coordinate support resources.\n * Review inventory and assign work to meet schedule and business requirements.\n * Facilitate shift coordination and assign direct/indirect labor effectively.\n * Coach teams on safety, quality, and productivity performance.\n * Monitor equipment and facility conditions; issue maintenance work orders as needed.\n * Maintain associate records, including attendance, OT, vacation, training, and time-off.\n * Manage department budgets and lead routine communication meetings.\n * Support training and onboarding for new employees.\n * Coordinate job bidding and verify candidate eligibility.\n * Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes and achieve plant goals.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree from an accredited institution or completion of Eaton\u2019s Front Line Leader Associate program\n * Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment\n * One (1) year of supervisory experience\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered.
