Pinehurst Country Club is currently recruiting a 3rd Assistant Golf Professional!

This position is full-time, year round!

Essential Functions:

Assist in hiring, training and supervising all bag room employees

Maintain appropriate levels of hard goods inventory within the open to buy plan.

Ensure the shop is always clean and kept current with the latest products

Assist in receiving all inventory shipments

Coordinate and implement the club’s 9-hole men’s leagues

Work with the Director of Instruction on all junior golf activities

Promote all events to maximize participation

Assist in developing lesson programs for all facets of the membership.

Communicate daily with Director of Golf and all departments

Assist in monthly inventory and all financial reporting

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the golf business with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience is preferred

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Strong customer service and organizational skills

Knowledge of and experience with computer point of sale systems and tournament software

PGA, LPGA member or Apprentice

Driver’s license required

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Must be able to work outdoors

Ability to work independently

Self-motivated and hardworking

Ability to understand, comprehend and follow verbal instructions

Available to work weekends and holidays

• Sick Time – 1 hour per every 30 hours worked
• Vacation will be earned after 1 year employment

Wage: $23 - $26/hour plus a percentage of lessons taught. Wage is

commensurate on qualifications and experience
