The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Additional experience in environmental, health, and safety preferred.
What you'll do:
Perform incident investigations and assist in corrective actions.
Conduct job hazard analysis and recommend preventative/corrective action where EH&S hazards exist.
Participate and lead team based safety observations.
Interact with all departments to assist with EH&S issues.
Perform administrative duties for the EHS department.
Support implementation of various safety policies and programs.
Conduct inspections and identify hazards and potential EHS violations.
Assist with providing solutions and intervention strategies for health, and safety hazards.
What you'll bring:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Additional experience in environmental, health, and safety preferred.
Knowledge of or willing to learn Federal/State Regulatory Requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA, IDEM, etc.).
Discretion and flexibility.
Computer skills to include, Word, Power Point, Excel.
Very good organization and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
Consistently work under pressure and simultaneously prioritize multiple projects.
