3rd Shift - Shipping and Receiving (Direct Hire)

Position Descriptions:

There are two roles that this position can and will fill on a daily basis. Position responsibilities can change on a daily basis due to demand, however, you will typically be doing one of the following. This is not a forklift position.

 1. Tote Breakdown

- Physically demanding position with the following tasks:

- Cleaning out and breaking down returnable totes from our customers to be reused.

- Stacking these totes for future use

 2. Tugger Driver

- Operating a Tugger to move parts/totes around the facility

- Tugger is a standup driving position that will have a fixed route to either line fill or line clear parts from one department to the next.

-Must be detail and time oriented, being able to stick to a strict schedule

-Must be safety oriented as you will be driving around the entire facility

Requirements:

- Must have 1 year or more of shipping/receiving experience.

- Must have a sense of urgency and work well under pressure

- Familiarity with standard work

- General understanding of lean manufacturing and concepts

- Required to work 3rd shift (9:00pm - 5:30am)

- Must be able to work frequent overtime, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to read and understand written instructions and safety regulations governing performance of job duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

• Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and communicate.
• Frequently is required to walk.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Competitive pay - Starting pay is $18.50, plus $1.10 shift premium
