5804 Automotive Catia V5 Engineer/Designer Cab Structures

Job Functions 

* Create and modify CATIA V5 3D Cad models and drawings for the Cab Structures group. 

* Work with engineers to design and modify components for the vehicle cab structure.

* Design and surfaces of the cab-in-white.

* Design Roofs, Cab trim and including windshields.

Basic Qualifications 

CATIA V5 Drafting required

Knowledge of GD&T standards & their application required

Flat Pattern & some surfacing preferred

Design experience with plastics composites preferred 

Education:

* BSME preferred, but NOT REQUIRED.

* Batavia or Philpot automotive design school preferred.

* GD&T knowledge and or Trained is preferred.

CAD Requirements:

* CATIA V5 4,000 hrs min, 3D Solids, GSD Advanced Surfacing, Drafting, Assemblies
