5825 Catia V5 CAD Technology and Methods Development Engineer

Deploy Client mechanical CAD methods to Engineering (Corporate or group level as required).

Develop Daimler Truck NA specific deviations to Daimler methods when required.

Create documentation for CAD mechanical methods (full document or tip sheet).

Run workshops or pilots for mechanical CAD methodology topics.

Facilitate transition of methods to production support.

Provide inputs or requirements on CAD mechanical methods to internal departments (Standards, Manufacturing, Product Design, etc).

Represent the needs and interests of DTNA to Germany with goal of standardizing methods.

Audit training and training materials related to CAD mechanical methodologies.

Support implementation of Siemens NX.

Support Capital Harness System (CHS) project as required.

Possible LCable Support as required.    

Proficiency in CATIA v5 required

Electrical harness routing and clipping in 3D environment is required

Experience in applying basic industry drafting standards is required

Proficiency in Mentor Graphics/L-Cable preferred

Experience with cab/engine/transmission harness layout/routing is preferred

Bracket design with GD&T experience is preferred

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
